SHIPPING, LOCAL DELIVERY & RETURNS

SHIPMENT

Your treasures will be packed nicely and sent out usually on the same day. We have decided to separate purchase price and shipping costs and charge the latter individually. Many online shops promote free shipping. However, you can be sure that in those cases shipping costs have been added to the purchase price beforehand. Therefore, we consider it to be transparent and fair to break down the costs. That way you don’t pay for multiple “hidden shipment costs” when ordering more than one item. This really does make sense when you think about it, right?

Worldwide shipping. We ship out our items carbon neutral with DHL GoGreen. The delivery times* and shipping costs vary as follows:

Germany: Shipping 6 €, for accessories 3 €. The delivery usually takes 2-3 working days.

EU, UK, San Marino & Vatican City: Shipping 15 €. Experience has shown that parcels arrive within approx. 7 working days. (depending on the destination country).

Sweden & Finland: Shipping 20 €. Experience has shown that parcels arrive within approx. 7 working days.

Other European Countries: Shipping 20 €. The delivery time is usually approx. 7 working days (depending on the destination country).

  • Montenegro, Serbia, Ukraine, Republic of Moldova, Bosnia und Herzegovina, North Macedonia: The delivery time is usually approx. 1-2 weeks. (Due to the current situation in Ukraine, no liability can be accepted for shipments to this country).
  • Iceland: The delivery time is currently approx. 2 weeks.

Algeria, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Türkiye, Tunisia, Egypt, Russia: Shipping 29 €. The delivery time is currently approx. 2 weeks.

Georgia, Israel: Shipping 29 €. The delivery time is currently approx. 2-4 weeks.

USA, Japan, Singapore, Canada, China, Hongkong, Macau, Southkorea, Taiwan, UAE: 
Shipping 35 €. The delivery time is usually approx. 2 weeks.

Rest of the world: Shipping 39 €. We cannot provide any general information on approximate delivery times here, but you can ask us about these before placing an order.

*The estimated delivery times are based on information from DHL and our experience. We cannot promise or guarantee delivery times. If you wish for express delivery, we will be happy to calculate an individual rate on a daily basis.

SHIPMENT TO A PACKING STATION WITHIN GERMANY

Within Germany, you can also have your order delivered to a packing station. In addition to the NAME field, please also fill in the COMPANY field (please enter the POSTNUMBER here), the ADDRESS field (please enter "Packstation" and the THREE-DIGIT NUMBER of the packing station here) and the ZIP code and CITY fields.

LOCAL DELIVERY

Should you be located within a radius of 15 km around Osnabrueck or Georgsmarienhuette, you may choose personal delivery which is free of charge. We will coordinate day & time with you and often same day delivery is possible.

RETURNS

Even if we shed a tear: Within the EU, you may return your purchase up to 14 days after receipt. It is sufficient to inform us via email, chat or contact form that you intend to return your purchase. Subsequent to this, please put the goods (unused/unaltered) into their original packaging, ideally using the original packing peanuts for protection. You are not required to provide any reasons for your return. However, you are doing us a great favor when giving us this valuable information. Thanks!
You can return the package with a shipping service provider of your choice. For your own safety, please ensure that you receive a tracking number and that the contents are adequately insured. If the delivery is delayed or the package is lost, you must file a claim with the shipping company of your choice yourself.
After receipt and inspection of the goods, we will immediately refund the purchase price and the outbound shipping. The refund will be made to the original means of payment, unless otherwise agreed with you.

Please note that we unfortunately cannot accept returns outside the EU due to the extra work involved and the higher costs (for both sides). However, we are happy to offer personal advice in advance so that you can find your perfectly fitting shoe and avoid making a bad buying decision. Just reach out to us!

We ask for your kind understanding: Especially in the beginning, dyed leathers – dark and intense colors in particular – may transfer color. Please note that this is due to normal properties of the products and does not constitute grounds for reclamations and returns. Tiny pieces of suede (a type of leather we like to use for sensitive parts like the heel counter) can rub off, therefore staining socks and feet. And when adding warmth and moisture from perspiration of the feet to the equation, color abrasion is reinforced. Synthetic materials are usually considered to be more colorfast but unfortunately, they are not particularly breathable most of the time. Tip: In closed leather shoes we recommend wearing dark socks, color stains on bare feet can be removed rather easily using a conventional pumice sponge without harming the barrier of your skin.

The shipping costs for returns will be covered by the customer. While you are free to select the forwarder of your choice, the shipment has to be insured and traceable. After we have received and examined the returned goods, we will immediately issue a refund (consisting of the purchase price and the original shipment costs) to the original payment method unless we have agreed otherwise.

We kindly ask you to refrain from ordering one style in more than one size to try at home. For one thing, we only stock small quantities and try to avoid having too much inventory circulating. For another thing, ordering more than intended to keep predetermines returns which is environmentally harmful. If you go with the size that is most likely to fit first, at least there is a chance that no return is needed. If you are unsure what size to pick, we will happily assist you.

Cancellation Policy

Consumers are generally entitled to a right of withdrawal as explained below when concluding a distance selling transaction. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to his or her commercial nor to his or her independent professional activity:

Consequences of Cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we must return all payments we have received from you (including the original delivery costs) immediately and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we received the notification of your cancellation of this contract.

For this repayment, we use the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; In no case will you be charged for this repayment. We can refuse the repayment until we have received back the goods back or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the period of fourteen days. The direct costs of returning the goods are to be borne by you. You must pay for any loss in value of the goods only if this loss in value is due to a handling of the goods that is not necessary for the examination of the quality, characteristics and functionality of the goods.
