Terms and Conditions
GENERAL TERMS
For all orders through our online shop (hereinafter called “CEDOUBLÉ”), Instagram or Meta the following general terms apply. These terms are complemented by the declaration of data protection. CEDOUBLÉ extends its offer to consumers which are full of age (18 years and above) and legally competent. A consumer is a person who purchases goods or services for consumption and not for resale or commercial purpose.
The buyer accepts the terms and conditions that are applicable at the time of the purchase. We reserve the right to deny access to CEDOUBLÉ for users who disregard the terms and conditions.
Signing up for a customer account is free of charge and does not obligate to buy anything. However, there is no entitlement to be granted access to CEDOUBLÉ either. To sign up successfully, customers have to enter the required data truthfully and are responsible for updating their personal information. The elected password has to be complex and shall not be shared with third parties. In case you wish to delete an existing CEDOUBLÉ customer account, please get in touch with us.
ORDER PROCESS AND CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT
The purchase agreement is concluded with Griesert & Moenkediek GbR (CEDOUBLÉ), Werner-von-Siemens-Strasse 19, 49124 Georgsmarienhuette, Germany. The contract languages are German and English. We are saving the contract text and will send you an order confirmation via e-mail.
The presentation of the products in our online store is not a legally binding offer but a non-binding online catalogue. You can put your products of choice into the shopping bag without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting a binding order. Please use the provided and explained correction tools to adjust your entries during the ordering process.
By clicking the order button "Pay now" you are submitting a binding purchase offer for the goods contained in your shopping bag. After submitting the purchase offer, you will receive an automatically generated e-mail that confirms the receipt of the purchase offer (hereinafter referred to as "order confirmation"). This order confirmation does not constitute an acceptance of the purchase offer. CEDOUBLÉ reserves the right to not accept the purchase offer, e.g. due to the lack of availability. In this case, you will be informed within 5 working days and you will then be immediately refunded the full amount of the purchase to the payment method originally chosen by you (invoice via Klarna, credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, Klarna Sofort, iDEAL, eps bank transfer or Bancontact).
Together with the order confirmation you will also receive our terms and conditions as well as the cancellation policy.
CEDOUBLÉ will notify you by e-mail when the goods have been dispatched (hereinafter referred to as "dispatch confirmation"). Upon receipt of this dispatch confirmation, a purchase agreement in accordance with these general terms and conditions is concluded between you and CEDOUBLÉ. The purchase contract is also concluded if CEDOUBLÉ sends you the goods without a dispatch confirmation.
GIFT CARD
Our gift cards are issued in EUR/€ and sent to the email address provided by the buyer in digital form. After payment is complete, our gift cards are valid immediately and for three years. Any remaining balance is valid for the remainder of the three-year period. The redemption of the gift card balance is possible exclusively on cedouble.com.
A cash payment of the gift card value or a remaining balance as well as the payment of interest is not possible. For one order, multiple gift card codes may be combined. If, in any case, a balance remains, a new gift card code will be generated. When the purchase price exceeds the gift card value, the amount difference will be paid by using one of the options available. Gift card codes have to be used during the payment process and cannot be considered afterwards. The gift card is not attached to any specific person.

Shipment only. Unfortunately, pickup is (currently) not possible but we offer delivery for local residents. If desired, we will deliver your order within a radius of 15 km around Georgsmarienhuette or Osnabrueck within 24 hours (Sundays are generally excluded but in individual cases a delivery on Sunday can be agreed on). We will coordinate the schedule of the delivery with you. To do so, it is necessary that you provide a phone number.
DELIVERY AND RESERVATION OF OWNERSHIP
The goods remain our property until full payment.
The ordered goods remain our property until the full payment has been received. If an order cannot be delivered by the shipping service provider after several attempts, it will be returned to CEDOUBLÉ. In case the customer wishes a new delivery, the shipping costs are to be paid again. If no new delivery is requested, the customer will be refunded the paid amount minus the original shipping costs. CEDOUBLÉ is not responsible for any appearing mistakes concerning the shipment of the goods in cases where the customer has provided false, incomplete and / or inaccurate personal data, in particular in the case of an incomplete, false or falsified address or telephone number.
If CEDOUBLÉ either does not deliver the goods in accordance with the contract or not at all, the customer must grant a reasonable extension for the fulfillment of the delivery. Otherwise, he / she is not entitled to withdraw from the contract.
FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTSGenerally, we will ship to packing stations and pick up points as well. In these as well as in cases of packages being redirected to the post office, we kindly ask to note the following: The responsibility to collect your delivery in time (usually 7 working days) lies with you. Should the package be returned to us, we will – after trying to get in touch with you to learn about the reason first, of course – charge you for the return shipment costs which may exceed the dispatch costs. If another (and final) attempt to deliver is desired, you will also have to bear the dispatch costs once again.
Should our efforts to contact you fail or a reasonable deadline to respond pass, we will refund the purchase amount minus all shipping costs incurred to the initial payment method.
DAMAGES IN TRANSIT
If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage we kindly ask you to inform us as soon as possible and immediately complain about such defects directly to the deliverer. Failure to make a complaint or to contact us has no consequences for your legal claims and their enforcement, especially your warranty rights. However, you will help us to assert our own claims against the shipping service provider or the transport insurance. We thank you for your assistance!
WARRANTY RIGHTS
Your warranty claims are based on statutory regulations according to the legal rules of the purchase right (§§ 433 ff. BGB). We do not issue voluntary guarantees.
If the customer discovers obvious defects in the goods, he / she can return the item(s) and demand a refund of the money. A claim must be made within two years after delivery of the goods. After 6 months, the burden of proof is reversed so that the customer must prove that the defect was already present at the time of the purchase. In case of a justified claim, we will bear the costs of the return shipment. If CEDOUBLÉ replaces the product with a new one within one month after the claim has been made, the customer cannot demand a discount or a refund of the total amount paid.
In case you want to assert a warranty claim, please contact the customer service. For questions, complaints and comments you can reach us via e-mail, contact form or Instagram.
PLEASE NOTE
We strive to represent and / or describe the colors of our articles as truthfully as possible. Nevertheless, technical reasons such as screen and color settings, among others, may cause different perceptions of colors. We cannot guarantee that the colors displayed on the screen correspond to the actual colors of the articles.
Furthermore, the stated dimensions of the goods are approximate measurements, so that, where applicable, deviations of +/- 0.5 cm are to be accepted.
Special offers, promotions and discounts are valid until the date indicated or while stocks last.
We have taken all necessary measures to provide complete, true and correct information on these website. We will correct any errors as soon as we become aware of them.
We ask for your kind understanding: Especially in the beginning, dyed leathers – dark and intense colors in particular – may transfer color. Please note that this is due to normal properties of the products and does not constitute grounds for reclamations and returns. Tiny pieces of suede (a type of leather we like to use for sensitive parts like the heel counter) can rub off, therefore staining socks and feet. And when adding warmth and moisture from perspiration of the feet to the equation, color abrasion is reinforced. Synthetic materials are usually considered to be more colorfast but unfortunately, they are not particularly breathable most of the time. Tip: In closed leather shoes we recommend wearing dark socks, color stains on bare feet can be removed rather easily using a conventional pumice sponge without harming the barrier of your skin.

LIABILITY
CEDOUBLÉ is liable towards the customer for damages that have been caused intentionally, for damages that are the result of gross negligence or for damages that affect loss of life, bodily injury or the health of a person. CEDOUBLÉ assumes unlimited liability in cases of mandatory legal rights.
CEDOUBLÉ is liable for damages that have been caused by simple and slight negligence only if this negligence affects an essential contract obligation. This liability is limited to foreseeable (at the time the contract was concluded), contract typical damages.
